Christmas Light Installation Sienna

Sienna, formerly Sienna Plantation, covers about 10,800 acres of Missouri City and is home to roughly 40,000 people. It has been built out over more than two decades, so a short drive can take you from established streets with full-grown trees to sections where the homes and landscaping are still new.

That range shapes the design. In older parts of Sienna, a mature front-yard tree is often the best thing to light. In newer sections, the trees are still small, so the roofline, the walkway and a lit wreath do most of the work. Homes facing the golf course, a lake or a greenbelt are seen from the back too, so that side gets planned along with the front.

What Changes the Design in Sienna

Four things come up on most Sienna estimates. Here is how each one affects the plan.

Tall two-story gables

Many Sienna homes have steep front gables and second-story rooflines. Each section is measured and cut to length so the lines sit straight from top to bottom.

Young trees in newer sections

When the trees are still small, we let the roofline and walkway lead and add light to shrubs and beds instead of wrapping thin trunks.

Golf, lake and greenbelt lots

Homes that back onto the golf course, a lake or a trail are seen from behind, so the back roofline and patio are included in the design.

HOA guidelines

Sienna has community guidelines for exterior decor. Most seasonal lighting is allowed, and if you are asked for details we give you the design preview to submit.

Sienna Roofline Price Check

Most Sienna homes are two stories with tall front gables, so the roofline is usually the biggest part of the job. We price it simply: $6 per foot for warm white C9 LED, with an $800 minimum. Pick your footage to see the number.

Rooflines are priced per foot. Everything else is quoted after we see the house, so you only pay for what you choose.

Roofline lighting

How much does Christmas light installation cost in Sienna?

We charge $6 per foot for warm white C9 roofline lighting, with an $800 minimum. A typical two-story Sienna home with about 200 feet of roofline comes to around $1,200, and that includes the design, installation, service calls during the season and takedown. Trees, walkways, wreaths and color are quoted after we see the home.

Does the Sienna HOA allow Christmas lights?

Seasonal lighting is generally allowed within Sienna's community guidelines, though there may be rules on timing. If you are asked for details, we can give you the design preview to submit.

Our trees are still small. What should we light?

Let the roofline lead, then add walkway lights, a lit wreath and mini-lights on shrubs or beds. Small trunks rarely show well when wrapped, so we usually suggest saving tree wraps for when they fill out.

Can you light the back of a golf course or lake lot?

Yes. We design the back roofline and patio together with the front, so the house looks finished from the fairway, the water or the trail.

Do you serve all of Sienna?

Yes, every section, from Sienna Point and Steep Bank Village to Waters Lake, Sawmill, Sienna Oaks and the newer areas. We also cover the rest of Missouri City and Riverstone.

When should we book in Sienna?

Book in October for the best choice of install dates. The schedule fills from late October into early December, and takedown is scheduled after New Year.
