Houston Xmas Lighting decorates the inside of Houston homes for Christmas: the tree, the mantel, the staircase, the foyer and the dining table. We plan the design with you, bring the decorations, set everything up and come back after New Year to take it all down. You get a finished house without spending a weekend on a ladder untangling garland.

Every home starts with a free in-home consultation. We walk the rooms you want decorated, look at the colors and furniture already there, and show you our three decorating styles so you can choose how full and dramatic you want it to look. Within 48 hours you have a mood board and an itemized quote.

We have installed exterior Christmas lights in Houston for more than 25 years. Our in-home decorating service brings the same full-service approach inside, and if you want the outside lit too, we do both on one schedule.

Christmas Tree Decorating Service

For most families the tree is the main event, and it is where the three styles look most different. A Classic tree is balanced and elegant. A Signature tree adds layered ribbon, mixed textures and specialty picks. A Luxe tree goes further, with oversized ornaments, premium florals and a statement topper.

We shape the branches so the tree looks full, add warm white lights, then build the design in layers of ribbon, ornaments, picks and florals until it looks finished from every side of the room. Two-story foyers and great rooms get a tree sized to the space.

Christmas Decorating Service FAQ

How much does a Christmas decorating service cost in Houston?

Our Classic package starts at $1,200 for a feature tree with mantel or entry styling. Signature multi-room packages start at $3,500, and most fall between $3,500 and $6,000. Luxe whole-home designs start at $8,000, and larger homes typically run $8,000 to $18,000 or more depending on the number of trees, rooms and materials. Every package includes design, decorations, installation and takedown.

What is the difference between Classic, Signature and Luxe?

Mainly how full and dramatic the design is. Classic is clean and balanced, with coordinated ribbon, ornaments and seasonal picks. Signature adds layered ribbon, mixed textures and specialty accents for a designer look. Luxe is our fullest style, with oversized elements, premium florals, ornaments in several sizes and finishes and a statement topper. Each step up also covers more of the house.

Do you provide the tree, garland and ornaments, or do I?

Either works. Most clients have us supply everything, including fresh or artificial trees, garland, wreaths, ornaments and florals, matched to the style they choose. We can also style your own family ornaments, or mix the two.

Can you decorate a tall tree in a two-story foyer?

Yes. We decorate trees from tabletop size up to 14 feet for two-story foyers and great rooms, and we bring the ladders and equipment to do it safely.

Will decorating damage our walls, floors or banisters?

No. We use removable hooks, floor protectors under tree stands, drop cloths and painter's tape for garland runs, and we leave every surface the way we found it.

Can you match our existing decor and colors?

Yes. At the consultation we note the colors, finishes and furniture in each room, then build the design so it works with your home instead of fighting it.

Do you take everything down and store it after Christmas?

Yes. Takedown after New Year is included in every package. We can also keep your decorations in climate-controlled storage until next season. Storage is included with Luxe and available with Classic and Signature.

When should we book?

As early as you can. Each decorating install takes our team a full day or two, so the weeks before Thanksgiving fill first. Booking in October gives you the widest choice of install dates.

Do you use fresh or artificial trees?

Both. Fresh Fraser and noble firs come with a weekly watering service. Artificial trees come in more sizes, up to 14 feet, and can be reused year after year. We will recommend what suits the room.

Do you also install exterior Christmas lights?

Yes. Exterior Christmas light installation is what we are best known for in Houston. Book inside and outside together for one schedule and combined pricing.
