From Old Town to Acreage: Lighting Built for Tomball
Tomball has two personalities. Old Town is a walkable historic district that grew up around the 1907 railroad and its depot, with established homes on older lots. Around it, master plans like Wildwood at Northpointe, Amira and Rosehill Reserve keep adding newer houses, and past the Grand Parkway the lots get bigger, the pines get taller and driveways stretch well back from the road.
Each of those settings calls for a different display. Near downtown, porch garland, lit trees and simple warm-white trim tend to suit the older homes better than tracing every roofline. In Northpointe it's about clean two-story rooflines and a wrapped front tree. On acreage, the entrance, driveway and fence line usually matter more than the house, because that's what people see from the road.
Every Tomball job is one booking for design, installation, in-season maintenance and takedown. Before you commit, you can try designs on a photo of your own home.
Lighting Acreage, Long Driveways and Tall Pines
West and north of town, plenty of Tomball homes sit on one acre or more. Lighting those properties well takes a different plan than a standard subdivision lot.
The entrance comes first
Gate posts, entry columns and the first stretch of drive get the most eyes from the road, so we plan them before the house.
Driveways and fence lines
Stake lights or lit runs along the drive and fence, with power planned so cords are not strung across the lawn.
Pines lit where it shows
We light the trunk and lower canopy of tall pines, which reads from the ground. Lighting the full height rarely looks better and costs far more.
Power mapped at the estimate
Long runs need outlets and timers in the right places. We map power on the first visit so the whole display comes on every night.
Estimate Your Tomball Roofline
Start with the house. Rooflines are $6 per foot in warm white C9 LED with an $800 minimum. Driveways and fence lines are quoted separately after a visit.
- Price covers design, installation, in-season maintenance and takedown
- Tree wraps, wreaths, color and very tall or steep roofs are quoted after we see the house
- Not sure how many feet you have? Send your address with the quote form and we will measure it for you

Tomball Neighborhoods We Light
Old Town, newer master plans and wooded acreage each need a different approach. These are the areas we are asked about most.
Old Town Tomball
Homes near Main Street and the depot, where porch garland, lit trees and simple warm-white trim fit the historic streets.
Wildwood at Northpointe
A mix of established and newer homes. Two-story rooflines and a wrapped front tree are the most common request.
Amira
One of Tomball's newest communities, with modern elevations that suit crisp, even lines and a restrained color palette.
Rosehill Reserve
Newer homes in a quieter countryside setting. Rooflines paired with lit landscaping fit these lots well.
Woodtrace
A heavily wooded community that crosses into Montgomery County, where the trees can carry most of the display.
Timberlake and acreage
Big lots with tall trees, where the entrance, drive and fence line matter as much as the roofline.
We also light homes in Villages of Northpointe, Canyon Gate at Northpointe, Wood Leaf Reserve, Raburn Reserve, Willowcreek Ranch and across the 77375 and 77377 ZIP codes.
