Light Your Home for the Festival of Lights

Diwali is the festival of lights, and lighting the home is at the center of it. This year Diwali falls on Sunday, November 8, with Dhanteras on Friday, November 6, so most families want the house lit by the first week of November.

Hanging lights well on a two-story Houston home is a ladder job most people would rather skip during a week of family, food and visitors. We design the display, install it with commercial-grade LED lights, fix anything that goes dark and take it down when you are ready.

And because Diwali is only a few weeks before Christmas, the same lights can stay up through the holidays. One install, one design and one takedown in January can cover the whole season.

One Install for Diwali and the Holidays

Diwali and Christmas are close enough together that one well-planned display can carry you from early November to New Year.

Up before Dhanteras

We schedule Diwali installs ahead of November 6 so the house is lit for the whole five days, from Dhanteras to Bhai Dooj.

Through Christmas if you want

Keep the display up after Diwali and it becomes your Christmas lighting. Takedown happens after New Year.

Colors that work for both

Warm white and amber read as Diwali and as Christmas. Multicolor works for both too, if you prefer a brighter look.

Diwali Lighting Services

Rooflines are priced per foot. Everything else is quoted once we see the house, so you choose exactly what gets lit.

Roofline outlines

Warm white, amber or multicolor C9 LED along every roofline and gable, cut to fit. $6 a foot, $800 minimum.

Balconies and railings

Lights along balcony rails, porch railings and upper-floor edges for a layered glow.

Columns and entry

Wrapped columns and a lit doorway to welcome guests arriving for Diwali.

When is Diwali in 2026?

Diwali falls on Sunday, November 8, 2026. Dhanteras is Friday, November 6, and the festival runs through Bhai Dooj on Tuesday, November 10. We schedule installs before November 6.

How much does Diwali light installation cost?

Roofline lighting in warm white C9 LED is $6 per foot, with an $800 minimum. A two-story home with about 200 feet of roofline comes to around $1,200, including design, installation, in-season fixes and takedown. Color, balconies, columns, trees and pathways are quoted after we see the home.

Can we keep the lights up for Christmas?

Yes. You can keep your Diwali lights up through the holidays, and we take everything down after New Year. If you would rather have them removed right after Diwali, tell us when you book.

What colors are best for Diwali?

Warm white and amber give the classic glow of diyas and look right for Christmas too. Multicolor is a brighter option. You can preview each on a photo of your home with our Light Designer.

Do you offer permanent lights for Diwali and other holidays?

Yes. Permanent color-changing roofline lights stay up year-round and can be set for Diwali, Christmas or any celebration from your phone.

How soon should we book for Diwali?

As soon as possible. Diwali installs need to be finished before November 6, and late October and early November are also the start of our Christmas season, so dates fill quickly.
